Speech Bilingual, offers treatment and improvement of speech and language development for children of all ages. We are fully bilingual (English and Spanish) and have extensive training for the most effective practices and treatment. We strive to provide sessions that are engaging to the child in both in-home and virtual formats, to expand your child’s abilities to communicate in all settings, from home, to school, to the store.

Meet
Haydee Thurber, M.A. CCC-SLP
Speech Bilingual is therapist owned and operated by bilingual speech language pathologist Haydee Thurber. Haydee was born in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and moved at an early age to the United States. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from St. Mary’s University and soon after obtained her Master’s Degree in Communication Disorders from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas.
She has over 15 years of experience and has obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Her experiences include evaluating and treating children (bilingual and monolingual) in schools, clinics, hospitals, and home settings. Other certifications that she has obtained are neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES/Vital Stim), bilingual certification and myofascial treatment of dysphagia.
